Key Shipping Rules & Specifications
To ensure the smooth progress of your shipment, please take note of the following important rules and specifications:
1. Weight Calculation Standard
For large cargo, if the actual weight is less than 23KG, the volumetric weight will be calculated starting from 27KG. The formula for volumetric weight is: Volumetric Weight (KG) = Length (cm) × Width (cm) × Height (cm) / 5000.
Note: For the United States, Alaska is classified as a non-West US address and will be billed at East US rates. There is no promotional pricing for shipments to Hawaii, USA. Please be advised!
2. Cut-Off Time & Pick-Up Service (Shenzhen)
The cut-off time for shipments in Shenzhen is 12:00 noon. Shipments confirmed before this time will be picked up on the same day. We support transit with original invoices, provided that the original invoice information is clearly indicated on both the packing list and the waybill. The invoice must include the English name, material, and purpose of the goods.
We accept goods with imitated origin, but such goods must be declared on the packing list/invoice. Failure to declare will result in the goods being treated as "smuggled goods", and an inspection fee of RMB 200 per shipment will be charged. Additionally, for shipments to the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam, an import processing fee of USD 18 per shipment will be applied, which will be reflected in the quotation.
3. Return Fee After Waybill Creation
If a shipment is returned after the waybill has been created for the channel, a return fee of RMB 50 per shipment will be charged.
4. Packaging Requirements
We accept goods packed in wooden cases, wooden frames, or air freight boxes. For cargo with a weight of ≥ 67kg, skids with a height of no less than 9cm are mandatory. For cargo weighing less than 67KG, skids are not required.
5. Additional Fees (Important)
Please note that the following additional fees cannot be supported with original FedEx bills; you may inquire about them independently:
A. Overweight/Packaging Surcharge
A surcharge of 195 × U per piece will be levied if either of the following conditions is met:
The actual weight of a single package is ≥ 25kg;
The goods are not packed in cartons or are in irregular packaging.
B. Over-Length Surcharge
A surcharge of 195 × U per piece will be charged if any of the following conditions is satisfied, and the minimum chargeable weight for a single piece will be calculated as 18KG:
The single side length of the package is ≥ 120cm;
The second longest side length of the package is ≥ 76cm;
The girth of the package is ≥ 266cm.
If a single piece of goods meets all three conditions above, only one surcharge will be applied, and no additional charges will be stacked.
C. Unusual Package Surcharge (Valid for IP/IE; Invalid for IEF/IPF)
For packages that exceed any of the following size or weight limits, a surcharge of RMB 2100 per piece × U will be imposed:
The longest single side is ≥ 274cm;
The girth (2 × (sum of the two shortest sides) + the longest side) is ≥ 419cm;
The actual weight of a single piece is ≥ 68KG.
Note: The unusual package surcharge and the additional procedure surcharge need to be charged cumulatively.
D. Oversized Shipment Surcharge
This surcharge applies to shipments containing packages where the longest single side is ≥ 243cm or the sum of the longest single side length and the perimeter of the other two sides is ≥ 330cm (2 × (sum of the two shortest sides) + the longest side). A surcharge of RMB 516 per piece plus fuel surcharge will be collected.
This surcharge is charged cumulatively with the overweight/packaging/over-length surcharge. If the goods meet the conditions of overweight/packaging/over-length simultaneously, only a combined surcharge of (195 + 516) × U will be charged.
Key Surcharge Rule: If conditions A and B are both met, no cumulative charges will be applied. If conditions A, B, C, and D are all satisfied, conditions A and B will not be charged cumulatively, while conditions C and D will be charged cumulatively.
6. Invoice & Customs Declaration Services
Invoice Options: Our channel defaults to using replacement invoices for export, but original invoices are also acceptable. If you need to export with the original invoice, please note this on the packing list and notify our customer service after the goods are warehoused. Requirements for the original invoice's shipper information: Hong Kong FedEx does not accept private individuals or companies/addresses from Hong Kong, Macau, or Taiwan as shippers. A complete shipper company name and detailed shipper address are mandatory.
Customs Declaration Types:
The declared value of a single shipment exceeds 700 USD or 5000 RMB;
The total actual weight of a multi-piece shipment exceeds 90KG;
The actual weight of a single-piece shipment exceeds 50KG;
For multi-piece shipments, if a single piece weighs more than 50KG, buyer's customs declaration is not required.
Separate Customs Declaration: A surcharge of RMB 150 per shipment will be charged.
Buyer's Customs Declaration: A surcharge of RMB 150 per shipment will be levied. Buyer's customs declaration is required for export if any of the following conditions is met:
Special Channel Requirement: The IPF, IEF, and oversized cargo channels must use buyer's customs declaration. We accept "yin-yang" customs declaration (where the invoice amount is inconsistent with the customs declaration amount).
7. Tariff & Address-Related Services
Tariff Prepayment: Tariff prepayment is available with a handling fee of RMB 150. For shipments to the United States, the handling fee can be waived initially; if tariffs are incurred later, the handling fee will be charged together with the tariff amount. For other countries (including New Zealand), the handling fee of RMB 150 must be collected in advance. The tariff amount is subject to the official bill.
Address Change Fee: A handling fee of RMB 83 per shipment will be charged. The specific address change freight is subject to the official bill. If the consignee changes the delivery address, the fee will be borne by the shipper. This fee is valid for a long term.
8. Other Additional Services & Fees
Remote Area Surcharge: The above quotation does not include the remote area delivery surcharge that may be additionally charged by the carrier agent. The charging standard is RMB 4.6 per kilogram of the package, with a minimum charge of RMB 218, and a fuel surcharge is also applicable. (Remote fees for some countries are divided into Class A, B, and C:
The final charge amount is subject to our company's bill and is valid for a long term.
Class A Remote: RMB 23 per shipment, plus fuel surcharge;

For single-piece goods with a weight of ≥ 68KG, the longest side of ≥ 274CM, or a girth of ≥ 330CM (2 × (sum of the two shortest sides) + the longest side), the oversized IEF/IPF channel must be used, with the minimum chargeable weight for a single piece starting from 69kg. For pricing, please inquire separately.
11. Shipment Compensation Policy
In case of partial or total loss of the goods, compensation will be made based on the declared value, but the maximum compensation shall not exceed 100 USD per shipment, and the freight will not be compensated. No compensation will be made for delayed or damaged goods. For valuable items, please purchase commercial insurance by yourself. We appreciate your understanding.
12. Important Notes
The quotation does not include fuel surcharge, invoice tax, customs duties incurred during the cargo transit process, inspection fees, storage fees, and all fees incurred due to the failure to provide information required by the customs at the destination (New Zealand), resulting in the goods being returned. If fees are incurred due to the inability to clear customs at the destination or the consignee's refusal to pay tariffs, the shipper shall bear all such fees.
Goods with under-declaration, counterfeit brands, prohibited items, or inaccurate invoice information will be automatically returned by the carrier agent and placed on a blacklist. The shipper shall bear all consequences and fees (including inspection fees) arising therefrom.
If a third party pays the tariff, a 2.5% handling fee will be added to the total freight.
As mentioned above, in addition to the fees specified in this price list, various additional fees may be charged for your shipment. Once the shipper hands over the goods to our company for carriage, it is deemed that the shipper agrees to pay the additional fees formulated by our company.
Other unspecified additional fees shall be subject to the charging standards on FedEx's official website.
